Using an old phone as a security camera

If you have an old android or apple phone you can turn it into a security camera. All you need is:

1. An old phone that is compatible with android or iPhone.
2. A new phone or a tablet that runs on android or iPhone.

You can use your old device as a security camera in just 9 simple steps.

1. Choose and install a security camera app from either Google Play or the apple store. For the purposes of this demonstration, we will be using Alfred. Install the app on both your old and new phones.
2. On your new device, open the Alfred app. Swipe through the introduction or read through it if you prefer.
3. Select, “Start”, “Viewer”, and then tap “Next”.
4. Then sign into your Google or Apple account.
5. On your old device, open the Alfred app. Swipe through the introduction or read through it if you prefer.
6. Select, “Start”, “Viewer”, and then tap “Next”.
7. You will be prompted to sign into your Google or Apple account.
8. Now that you have linked both devices you are pretty much finished and you can adjust your settings depending on your preferences.
9. You can now place your old device in a place of your choosing to record the footage that you need!
